Due to the current crisis of Covid-19 cases across the country, and the high number of cases in our area, we have had many difficult discussions about whether we should hold our Clarendon Day street festival.
The safety of our community is of the utmost importance. and we do not feel we can ensure everyone's health and safety with our traditional format. Consequently, we will hold a special event called "Clarendon Comes Together" with a variety of outdoor activities and virtual events throughout the day, to support our neighbors, our businesses, and our front line workers. There will be a special raffle of unique items and experiences, live concerts, a virtual marketplace, and a donation drive for our local non profits. There will also be several family friendly activities, including a scavenger hunt and chalk art contest.
Even though we are not able to hold Clarendon Day in the same way that we have for the past 25 years, we promise to put on an event that will embrace the spirit of our community,

About our Annual Clarendon Day Celebration - Rock 8 Blocks!
Clarendon Day is one of Arlington’s best loved and most diverse street festival, with several music stages, a large kid’s area, arts and crafts vendors, business and nonprofit exhibitors from Clarendon and the region, plenty of great food from local and regional restaurants, Craft beers and Virginia wines, and more.
20+ years of fun, 8 blocks, 20,000+ people!
Early bird registration for Clarendon Alliance members usually takes place in May. Regular registration for all other vendors and restaurants ordinarily takes place in June. We review musical acts and performers for our two stages leading up to the event. If you have questions, please contact Elizabeth Crocker at Elizabeth@clarendon.org.
