The Clarendon Alliance is a public-private partnership
chartered by the Arlington County Board in 1986 to promote the health and
vitality of Clarendon, Arlington's original downtown commercial district, and
its surrounding areas. We market existing businesses in Clarendon and the
community in general. We are a forum for the community with regard to issues
including parking, traffic and new development. We serve as guardian for the
Clarendon Sector Plan, the approved plan for future development in our
community.
The Alliance is funded by annual membership dues and a yearly grant from the county. Members of the Alliance include commercial property owners, small and large businesses, financial institutions, government representatives, neighborhood community groups and individuals.
The Alliance promotes Clarendon, with it's diverse businesses and charm!
